Hi All - based in Sydney, Australia right now and hopefully planning a trip of a lifetime aiming to target doggies, Spanish Mack, wahoo, ect...

I am an experienced spearo originally from California with 8 years of diving exp (21 yr old). I am also travelling with a exp surfer and would be a + if there are good waves too.

Need some help deciding on a location in the South Pacific to dive - currently have three locations in mind: Samoa (upolu), Tonga (eua), and Vanuatu (Espiritu Santo).

If anyone has insight into these locations, could offer some other ones they have had positive experiences in, know contacts in any of these places, or even just what you think, then please reply or hit me with a pm.

Thanks all and safe diving !!

From what I’ve seen and heard, each of those spots can deliver, just in different ways. Tonga (ʻEua especially) is known for clear water and good pelagic action, while Vanuatu (Espiritu Santo) tends to have solid variety and structure. Samoa can be a bit more hit-or-miss depending on conditions, but it still has potential.
