...I wouldnt spend $200 on something that really isnt necesarry...
Hmm.... Please define necessary. By that logic, you wouldn't have a speargun when a Hawaiian sling is all you need. It's not a necessity, not much of my freediving stuff is. It's about comfort.

Jim, does the Dahlak help at all with seas lice at all? That itch can be a little annoying around the swim trunks elastic. I know sting zapper and other products and tricks work, but keeping them out of the shorts would be good.

A few of the original suits would get runs in the nylon over the butt area when the diver would bend over. The new version which will debut in about 4 to 6 weeks will have black supratex all around the pelvic area (kind of like a black pair of shorts).

:)

THANK GOD! No one wants the runs in the butt area... :blackeye

Interesting Jim, Thats what happened with my first omer 3 mil camo suit. I just used the replacement for the first time ever today and yesterday. The bay turned over and I was cooking in my 5 mil with 60f surface temps. Today the wind changed and surface temps dropped to 53 - I was pretty comfy in the 3 mil anyway. - Regardless of all that - this one seems cut a little different - fit is generally better and it doesn't seem quite as tight in bending over dimension. Don't know if they changed their camo suits last fall when I did the switch or if the purple camo is just cut differently than the ocean. Of course I'm not sure the suit is necessary either - I've got an elios 3 mil they sent me by mistake when I ordered my five - smooth out - of course the blue pelagos camo on the 5 isn't really necessary - but then neither is the suit since I already have a 5 nylon out - and a 6 smooth out (with the equally unnecessary green pelagos camo) - I got the Omer 3 to replace my 3 mil elios plush suit - which I don't like anymore - then I lucked out and got the Elios. I feel guilty, what with it not be necessary and all, but some hot little chicklet said 'sweet suit' as she oscillated on by yesterday - last week another one hooted at me in the blue pelagos 5 whether those two incidents represent a kind of 'necessity' is, I suppose; arguable. I wonder what'll happen when I wear the blue Pelagos 3 mil.. Do you think it'll go better with my Hard monofin, my Soft monofin - or my new Russian Hyperfin - which is medium.? I'm pretty sure the last one is necessary, but I'm not sure which one of the first two is.
