Spearfishing in Huatulco, Oaxaca, Mexico

Has anyone out there ever tried spearfishing in Huatulco, Mexico? I've been all over Mexico and baja but never at this particular city. The trip we have planned is set for mid February and I'd sure like to get a little inside info on what I can expect from the locals down there. Are the tuna and wahoo in? Are the pangueros "spearo friendly", so to speak? Any other useful advice will be appreciated.
