You use a 45!?!? Really? Is it just for night dives or do you use it in the day?

How do you find it power-wise and what kind of range do you get?

Do you use it with the tri-pointed spear?

Lot of questions rofl I'm just shocked to hear that you're using such a small gun!

Same here Ive had 75s band and Ive got a 70 jetair. the jetair is definately lacking in range. so much so I hardley use it.

Following some negotiation, I managed to get away late last night (got a mile down the road and realised I'd forgot my gun!!! NNNOOOOooooo!) thats what you get rushing.
Iot in this morning nr high tide on north side looked reasonably calm, bit of white on the crests and v small swell. Vis was poor at the surface, about 1m but a bit better and varied on th bottom 2-3m maybe a little more in spots. Didn't see much around except tiddlers and this @ just 2lb scaled and gutted. Wind seems to be picking up a bit just now. I'm gonna see how it looks later, may get in on next rise tonight. But will likely wait till the morning, I think the winds are going to build today and then drop by the morning but I'll wait and see. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1346497829.098795.jpg

Oh no. Now I can't decide whether to risk a drive down tomorrow. Anyone else going for the gamble?

just got out, winds up lots on low water, viz much worse didnt see a thing ,well v small wrass weed and eneminies!to be expected on low tide i suppose .well done manicflipper think you may be right try tomorrow morning.Brose the 45 v good it got a single tip on has 18mm bands and is harder to load than the 75with16mm on it so handy and manouverable how many fish have we all missed fish when you cant get the gun round quick anough.the shaft is thicker poss heavier to.reach is about 3m plus your arm length.75 is about4.5m well blown out now high wind just bin to portmadog and back via cricieth .

Gutted too. Just got to Lymm services, so 1.5hrs from Anglesea west coast. Think im gonna turn round and head back. If it gets good midweek over the next month or so I might be tempted to do an evening run down to anglesea and back for anyone interested. think there might already be two or three of us......
