The sea is looking a little bit like guaranteed sea sick conditions at the moment. I don't know if it will be fishable tomorrow, I think it will be a waste of your time this weekend. The wind levels look to be dying down later in the week, maybe we can all arrange to meet up next weekend and make a do of it?
I think you are 100% right Pastor ! it will be a waste of time , although i might chuck the gear in the van this afternoon and have a spin around just to show willing , you would be welcome along with me and the others conn , sadly the spearfishing opportunities are few and very far between these days in the UK. Im off for 6 weeks now and should be able to make some midweek trips ! great .
Did I say "guaranteed sea sick conditions" Jesus, I haven't puked so much in a long time. I wonder if Bass like sausages and OJ? I wish I hadn't got up this morning, spent the day out with Dario in the boat in a strong wind and a 4 - 5ft swell and the gearbox packed up about a 1/2 mile out of cable bay so we had to swim the boat and haul it up to the car park bit by bit 
After we got sorted out would you believe the sea flattened like a mill pond.
Good side of the day was Dario got some fish and those trim tabs I was asking about a few months ago, well I bought some and the are a big improvement keeping the nose down and letting the little boat plane quite well. Wish I'd bought a Yammy instead of that effin Merc!

Not bad as it turned out, the viz was a very fishable 3 - 5 m which considering the conditions over the last few days was awesome. Saw a couple of half decent bass but they both came in together and spooked almost instantly so I didn't even get the chance to think about getting a shot off.
The engine has gone back to the dealer to get sorted so fingers crossed it will be running again by the weekend. The wind looks set to to blow quite strongly from the south on Saturday so the south of the island will be out again. Has anyone ever tried Cemlyn? I think I might head off there then for an explore and head out for Harry Furlong.

I think John fished there, I'll probably see him tomorrow and I'll ask it.
The forecast is changing everyday so I'm not sure it will be strong, by the way I'm coming saturday and sunday so everyone fancy to fish just let me know!
Sunday Pastor tried to chum bass with sausages but didn't work, only small bass were around, I suspect seabass doesn't like sausage.rofl

Rhosneigr is amazing mate !! went in for a dip over low water last night and the vis was great , a good 5m id say! didnt see many fish though - only a couple of small bass and a couple of mullet , no shots taken.
Thinking of giving it a go now up to high water .. .. before the storm comes to spoil your weekend of fun lads:head

Went in with John this evening to Leyn Peninsula. No great vis but still good! Good day for me with a 4.5pounds bass with other two 2pounds bass and a 2pounds mullet but great day for John with 2 big bass (don't know the weight but about 8-9pounds each) and 2 other little one!:friday

Had a dip at Trefor today for an hour or two, saw loads of pollack but none were at a takeable size. The amount of baitfish there was pretty wild, shoal after shoal of sand eel were swimming around so was surpurised and dissapointed not too see any larger fish preying on them
Picked up a nice silver spoon though that fits well into my tackle box!
Going down to Cornwall next week so fingers crossed!

Aye, yes it was. Went on holiday with my mate to Nefyn and on the way back decided a dip was in order so made him sit on the shore with a rod for the time I was in the water.
Against the forecast and the murky water I've been in every weekend with 1-2m of visibility. Lack of fish but always got few fish at the end, a few bass 3-4 pounds and mullets.

I've a question for you guys, yest I took some mussels in anglesey. Today I've tried them and they are absolutely delicious, however the only problem is that all of them have at least one tiny pearl inside which is quite annoying for abvious reasons. Does anybody know something about it? I ate mussels in my country and never found a pearl inside!
P.S.:I'm fed up with the weather!:rcard
