Sphera sources

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
I saw them - a LOT of them - in a big dive operation in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and was told they'd taken delivery of hundreds of Spheras and are happy to ship anywhere. They also offer discounts for orders of 4 and 6 masks. The buzz is the Sphera isn't being made anymore, so I stocked up at this place and bought a round dozen.

Here's their web page: SPHERA SOURCE

I have confirmed with Aqualung USA that they will continue to carry the Sphera Black color and have no plans to discontinue and that it was only rumor. To quote the Aqualung rep, "The problem with the internet is that it carries all kind of information, some correct, and some being pure imagination."

So good news for all of us that were waiting for the mask. :)

Interesting. I was told by an Aqualung rep that it was being discontinued - some time ago.

"The problem with the internet is that it carries all kind of information, some correct, and some being pure imagination."
Hm, I wouldn't blame the Internet for it. It's problem of information in general - it can be true or false, but it can be spread it any way. False news are being spread as much by other media, or in personal exchange, as on Internet. In this case, the false news likely came directly from people associated with Technisub/Aqualung, so they should not blame "the Internet" for it. Nice to know though that Sphera continues to be produced, although it is no more in the catalogue of Aquasphere (at least I do not see it there). Or did they move it under another brand name?

I can get them - if anyone in the UK wants one let me know.

I guess since the other colors won't be produced anymore and there may be 2 new colors means the old colored models are discontinued. But black will be available in the States. Not sure about Europe.

Anyone able to find them with clear skirts? Particularly the blue framed version? Mine broke :(

I see the DB store lists clear skirt with "Assorted Colors" - but they show an ugly yellow one. Emailed them several days ago to see if they had blue with no response..

And yes, I love my blue - don't hate :)

I am pissed off.
I wan´t buy a Technisub Sphera in black or blue with black Silicon,
(i don´t like them with clear Silicon) but can´t find them nowhere here in Europe.
Did somebody know where i can get the one with the black Silicon?

FYI - for the second time an Aqualung rep has told me the sphera either is now or soon will be out of production.

They are annoying those reps keep repeating themselves!

Sam :wave I'm at the double dip can you PM me a price please for some masks, cheers

If I'm not wrong, the frame shape and lens material. Falcon's frame is more boxy and has glass lens.

I can get you spheras for £25 plus postage from the UK - but need to know asap as stocks are running low. Please email or pm me for details
Sam
