Spheras Back in Production

According to the local dive shop. Ran into one of the owners at the pool and he said Aqualung has reworked their mask production strategy - the Sphera is back in and listing at $50 us. So we should be seeing it for substantially less.

Great news!!!!!!! - I hope it's truly true!

Are there any design changes? (maybe harder plastic lenses?)

Too bad Aqualung did not say they did it because freedivers started buying up the last batch.

I've got five I've repaired two and given one of those away. I bought the other four back when I first heard they were going out - got 'em before the price hit the roof.

Dammit, i've been stockpiling for nothing.... mind you my first Sphera I bought in 2005 is still going strong - if you take care of them they'll last for years.

thats the 'Falco' different mask. - Technisub still makes it.

They are back in production but are available in black skirt/lens only. The part number is 220531 if your dealer does not carry them.

I already bought one and to me they are the same as the old ones. So no change there.
