i use mine often.. great in strong currents, especially when you're pulling people through them!

I used my cressi garas for years and last year switched to the full foot Sporas, I like them even better, and like Jon, I have used both in wrecks without problem. Only time I use anything different is if I am diving doubles and then I use my SP jets, but I haven't done a tech dive in 3 years. After almost 10 years of diving mostly tech, I am rediscovering the joy of freediving and rec diving!

nah... sometimes the currents used to get pretty hectic and if you're not used to it and you're a novice diver your kick isn't developed well enough to manage...

grab their pressure or hand.. and go.......... you don't want to see your students drifting away in the channel

I used my Waterway #2's for scuba in Cozumel last month. ( I would rather freedive but the boat traffic overhead is just too dangerous) There were some fairly strong currents and the long fins work much better than any scuba fin in that kind of situation. I heartily recommend them for scuba.
