Hi, I'm gathering opinions on where to head out as a group of 3 freedivers, with minor interest in scuba diving, too. Has anyone share free/scuba diving experience at Sri Lanka? here are some questions to kick off the discussion:

What animals did you see? (whales, mantas, sharks ... ?)
Was there a nice underwater flora? (corals, ...)
What was the best and the worst visibility underwater?
What was the average wave size at the sea? (would surface bouncing at the buoy a problem for a freediver?)
Which diving spots can you recommend (in descending priority order, please)?
Besides underwater, what else did you like about the place?
On the other hand, was there something you'd prefer to avoid had you known? - The Worlds Largest Community Dedicated To Freediving, Scuba Diving and Spearfishing
