St. Lucia, Smugglers Cove and Olympus mju 770SW

Hi all

I'm booked for holiday in St. Lucia soon (very soon ) and would like to know whether anyone has any tips for snorkelling in Smuggler's Cove.

Don't suppose anyone might be there soon? I'll be introducing my children to the sport, but I could do with a dive buddy that doesn't cling to my arm.

Also, wonder whether anyone has experience with the Olympus mju 770 SW. Have one and intend to fill the 2GB card in no time with photos and video.

Dont have experience there myself but check out A South African Spearfishing website for local and overseas divers. Theyre more focused on that side of the country.
On the cam issue, check out the photography threads I think theres been a discussion on the cam there

Just a quick note because I have a lot to do and no time for this. BUT, the camera is sooo lovely I wanted to post a reply to say I recommend this camera completely. But you'll be lucky to get one now. Apparently the seals on the camera cost so much that they're not going to make them much longer and will focus on the 3m version. The 770SW if fine down to 10m!

We had pretty bad vis for the Carribean because there was so much rain washing silt into the bay we were in. Camera still managed a few good pictures. What was also a bonus was being able to carry it about in the zip up pocket of my swimming trunks because I didn't have to worry about sitting on it (it's crush proof!).
