Is there any harm to fit freediving competitors with vests indicating their starting numbers and official event sponsors, etc.?

The idea is, apart from making competitions more organizer and spectator friendly, to make them also more media and sponsor friendly.
Elasticity to allow free breathing and low water drag would be key in choice of material, obviously. There already exists safety freediver vests in competitions, maybe that's a place to start.
