hello everybody. I recently started doing freediving with AIDA 2 and now I'm about to beginning to do the o2 and co2 tables, my PB is 2:00. Should I do both tables in the same week, meaning one table every second day? Like Monday o2 table, Wednesday is co2 table, Friday is o2 table and so on?

Hi Ilya. There is no hard rule about how often you should do tables or what type of table to do. Ask 10 people and you will get 10 different answers. Each person will experience it differently. However it easy to do too much. In which case you will not recover properly and just burn yourself out. I'd say start by doing a good table twice a week and then add from there. You should always feel ready before doing a table. If it's too hard to complete and you are losing ground then you are probably over-training.

What worked for me was splitting tables and doing more O2 tables than CO2 tables. So something like 1-2 CO2 /week and 2-3 O2 /week. Not long sessions
O2 can be done as walking apnea too but I always did it static

Try out a relaxed schedule like J Campbell suggested and see if you see an improvement after a month or two. If you do, then just keep it as is for the most part
