Hi All

Decided today to do a bit of dry-static work, and am experiencing a rush of light-headedness and dizziness about a second or so after I do my deep breath. I am exhaling immediately, do not want to push thru it in case it's my body telling me to take a rest?

A few of the 'spells' have been quite severe, almost feels as if I will topple over if I hold it.

Any idea's Frank / Eric / anyone ??

Jeff

PS - Dived on friday, everything was fine .

A common occurrence, usually occurs in one of the following situations:
- You have been inactive not stood up for a long time (adrenals are asleep)
- Dehydrated, too hot, or low blood pressure
- Too much potassium and too little sodium/calcium (i.e. eating too many fruits)
- Eating vasodilating foods such as garlic or onions
- Lacking sleep

Brilliant Eric, thanks for the quick response. I can see a few of the above factors as possible reasons.

Regards

Jeff

Also hyperventilating, though I guess that fits the general case, you probably know better.
