The voice on the windows program? it uses Microsoft's built-in speech thing so you can get all different voices for it and change them in the settings.
On the android app try changing to the British voice if your using the American one it sounds a lot less harsh and make sure your using Pico tts not the robotic espeak voice if you have tts extended installed.
