Ok, I've got some new insights.
I seems that I've heard not the whole truth.
I now feel I've judged to soon, so I'll wait for things to unfold.
Judging only from the things in the
Stephane Mifsud 8'24': SAD NEWS leaves me only one option for the "no, I disagree" , but there's much info left out.
I think it's mostly a communication issieu.
I think AIDA should be more open, and keep the community fully informed about the latest devellopments.
As I understood from the post at the NFDB forum a physical checklist, to be filled in and signed by the judges at the event to make sure they are more certain. So that the athlete hears a good judgement, and can -almost- be certain that the second, third check by the board wil be approved too.
This checklist may devide tasks over the judges on hand for better judgement. It should be publick to, so the coach and athlete can check and train with them. Good coaching appears also vital, as one can loose track of time pretty good and mis the 20 sec -ok-signal check
To everyone complaining about a judgement, please weigh your words carefull, and write the complete story. Half truths can be worse than complete lies.
Ok, I've learned a lesson today, and I hope I don't forget it.
I feel I should take down the poll, because it urges people the judge too early. Gladd I put the "I do not have an opinion jet" option in there!
