Stretching Neoprene

Right..

Bath test last night went well. Gloves much better when wet. I'm still going to give them some stretch treatment just to be sure. Incidently, the viz was really poor, down to 200mm! Never dive in the Radox sea (eventhough it smells nice)...

Any suggestions on how to stretch a neoprene vented bib hood mine is a little tight and I would like to stretch it a bit so it’s not so tight fighting. I have the same with gloves I can get them on but they are a little tight fitting. If anyone has any ideas please let me know they are 7 mm were used for cold dives. Thank you in advance for any advice or suggestions to help me out.

I haven't noticed any permanent stretching in my neoprene wetsuit, socks or gloves over the years. Maybe a little in the socks. If you can't stretch them, Cold water will likely make you shrink a bit, if you've only tried them on land so far, which should help. Failing that, you could try loosing weight :^/ Failing that, sell them and buy a larger size :^/
[On the other hand, if you'd bought them a little too big, I could have suggested eating more pies :) ].

That was my next option but I got such a good deal on them I couldn’t pass on it but if they don’t stretch I’ll just sell them on and buy a larger size. Thanks for your advice unfortunately I don’t think my head will shrink along with my hands but my waistline could definitely shrink a bit more.

The occasional but increasing use of SE Asian sizes, which are much smaller, has probably exacerbated sizing problems in recent years.

I can’t agree more trying to get the proper size can be difficult especially if your ordering it online. I believe the one Set of gloves and bib hood are medium I’m sure I need a large I did try them on and they do fit but are quite snug on me guess I could use them in a pinch. I’m going to look around for the proper size one and sell these other ones on.
