supplied air finswimming

does anyone know more about the competition finswimming with supplied air? how large are the tanks? is there a regulation size?.. i can't seem to find more info on it, are they just normal pony bottles?

it depens on the discipline:
there are four of them (except surface disciplines)
50m apnea - no tank
100m immersion - the lowest allowed volume is 1 liter and its the volume everybody is carrying
400m immersion - the most of the swimmers use 4 liters tanks
800m immersion - 8 liters, although as far as I know you could use a smaller tan k as well

thank you SO much.. i know i use a little bit of air when i scuba.. i'm not holding my breath.. i guess i just breathe very shallow because of my freediving.

thanks for responding.. currently i go for 50m apnea.. but i am curious about immersion (thanks for giving me the proper term) finswimming
