surface boards in the Mediterranean

Are they used in the Mediterranean? If so, what places are they more commonly used. I am developing one that I would like to send there. Any feedback would be much appreciated.

oh! very good idea! I always have to hang a rock on my flag bouy... but I do have a small body board like this around here... thanks for the pics!
