Hello everyone,

We are scientists from the Ruhr-University in Bochum in Germany and currently researching how athletes from different sports and at different proficiency levels differ in their personalities.

We created a survey in which you are asked to characterize the typical athlete one meets in your sport and the ideal athlete for your sport.

The survey takes about 20 minutes and as compensation, we will later inform you about the typical personality profile of your sport!

Link to survey:

Feel free to share the link with other people of your/other sports!

If you have questions, leave them in the comments and we will try to answer them.

Thank you so much in advance!

Hi.

Got around to answer the questions, but in all honesty they were quite stupid. I don’t see how one could generalise like that. The questions were very specific, but I could not find myself answer them in a serious manner.
I mean, they have more to do with how serious a athlete one is than what sport one is in to.

Sorry, but you’ll have to do without my answer.

We're a group of scientists and we are to analyze the personality types of the athletes: freediving reviews from the essays.agency perspective of traits and how professional freedivers worm their way into this sport...

Hello, I'm a bachelor's student at EU Business School in Montreux doing my research project based on the personality types in sport management. I need to compare the personality profiles of private freediving instructors and freedivers who hire the former. Did you use the Five Factor Model by Costa and McCrae for your research?
