suunto divecomputer "LOG"

Hi there,

I recently got a Suunto Companion divecomputer as a gift from a divemaster student! It worked before the battery ran out. I replaced the battery and when I turn the computer on the only thing it does is showing the message "LOG" ! Does anybody know what to do or what can be done? Where can I find or download a manual for this older type?

Have you put it in water?
Mine sometimes flashes log after a dive and after a while
goes back to normal.
