Believe me Bill, IF I had that sort of meter long appendage, I sure as hell wouldn't be hanging around here!

So anyways, as the late afternoon lengthened, Tim padded down to my casita and announced that when in Mexico, do as the Mexican's do. So we went to La Paz and the demolition derby. And had pizza.

La Paz has a nice little stadium that every few months the junk yards and plumbing supply/bars get their 70's era cars together to see how grande their huevos are. And the place absolutely fills to the walkways with locals. And the nice thing is, it's all good. The only violence was on the field between the cars, and occaisionally between the crews. And there was a couple in the stands. OK, so it wasn't ALL good, but it was fun. A very surreal experience- I mean, what am I doing in Baja, at a demolition derby, eating a pepperoni slice?? rofl I sat next to the cutest lady there naturally, but she wouldn't commit to meeting me in 10 years though. Her loss.

Sven,
Sounds like a great trip. Glad to see you back in action.
Just got from Baja del Sur myself. Had a blast and can't wait to go back.

Pic #4 of the sunset is really gorgeous!
All the best,
