Hi,

Have you ever heard (or seen) SWB / Samba before the first contraction. Is it possible or if your O2 reserve is still correct and CO2 level too, it just can't happen ?

Yup, it happens. Sometimes you feel really good when surfacing and then you get hit. In fact sometimes you feel a little too good, and that is a potential warning sign.

I saw Jean-Michel Pradon suffer a blackout after about 50 seconds into his dive of the Belgium world cup in 2000. The reason given was overpacking. That's to take into consideration, too. Eric F. suffered a similar blackout one meter (!) into his deep dive in the Swiss world cup same year.
