in most parts of Europe it is time for the pool workouts. Summer is definitely gone.
What's about your swimming ability? How fast do freediver manage the 1000m without fin or fins? ;-)

  • faster than 16 minutes
  • faster than 20 minutes
  • slower than 25 minutes?

normally do 750m in about 13.30 mins without pushing too hard. I do this as a warm up before starting some hypoxic training as i like to keep my swimming reasonably up
 
I am in the category "why swim 1k when you can have fun?"!

Normally i dont do warm ups over 500m and in fact i tend to warm up by duration not distance. That's why i know i can "fit" in 10 minutes about 9 to 10 pool lags (450-500m), so i guess it would be in the 20min mark.
