Iaorana! or… Hey there!
I’m from sunshine tropical Tahiti, and I’m coming to Yorkshire and Edinburgh to visit and enjoy your beautiful easy coastal areas!
As Daniel Mann says, “Dive everywhere!”, so I decided that I would need to dive there!
I was recently told that my 5mm open cell suit was going to keep me not that warm, so I got myself a brand new 7mm wetsuit that I absolutely need to try … next week!
So, if anyone would be free to show me around Yorkshire or Edinburgh spearfishing, that’d be a wonderful thing!
My dates are 8 to 16th July.
Of course, I’d be happy to show you some cool places in French Polynesia too if you’d come! (1.5-3mm wetsuit is fine…some of us even dive without a suit)

Welcome Ariits, I use a 5mm suit for all my UK diving. But you're going further north which might be a bit cooler and sounds like you're used to warmer conditions, so a 7mm might suit you better - but the extra buoyancy will require that you carry more lead .

BTW it has been unusually hot, dry and sunny here this June and July so far.

I've not dived that far north. But I believe Flamborough is a well known sea angling location (possibly esp. for cod in winter?).
