Memo,

That must have taken time! :)
Tell us the story behind the pic, how long it took, where, etc.

Is that a scuba diver? He hasnt got a snorkel but has a stab or harness on as well as a reg hose on his left hand side. Even if it is, from what Ive heard about these fish, that must have taken some patience. Its a good pic :)

Now that guy is hungry. ;)

If that's what people do with dentices, I don't wanna see what kinda job they do with a blowfish.

I think this could've been posted as a caption contest.

Whats impressive about this pic is that two divers got the confidence of that fish. Anything is possible if we try hard enough

Its an octopus tentacle coming out of the mouth of the dentex. Very spectacular to see a dentex fighting with a big octopus. I have seen dentex head completely covered by struggling octopus while eating it from the inside. They are very easy to approach and exhausted while doing this.

A three kilo octopus will give even a large dentex a lot of grief. I speared a dentex at one time that was "battling" with an octopus this way and I could not make up my mind whether the octopus was eating the dentex or the other way around. Also I think when they swallow they go stupid for awhile much like the grouper that if he has just eaten something big will be easy to approach. Just my opinion guys and respect for Mifsud I know this guy spears at insane depths I will never see.
