taking a course: now versus later

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 90 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
Do a course now.
I was lucky enough to dive with Emma Farrell and my understanding of freediving improved alot.
Of course, read, digest etc, but doing a qualified course brings it all to life.

Thread Hijack Warning!

Me? (just kidding, but i'll post anyway)

Static: 2:50 (Dry:3:30)
DYF: 50 m
DNF: 40 m

CWT: 4 m :blackeye

Went out with Ptoot today to a little lake near Antwerp.

Had a kickass time:
- Got to use my new Elios suit for the first time.
- Did my first open water freediving session.
- And most importantly, increased my CWT PB to 17-18m (buoy bottom).

Thanks to ptoot for the great partnership and I am already looking forward to the next time!

Man! I am now totally hooked on freediving. I was enjoying the pool part of it but if there was too many people it just ruined it for me. The lake is my place to be. I was tired as hell afterwards but now I'm itching for my next dive.

I have to say though, the Elios 3 finger gloves (5mm) are a bit too warm for summer diving (maybe ~18 degree water). Gonna wait for someone around Belgium to order an elios suit and I'll try to get some 2 or 3mm gloves from Elios too to save on the shipping.

Also, time to start saving up for the F.10. Definately a handy little gadget to have when lake diving.
