TEAKSEA, the speargun making company from Greece has three excellent models for UK waters: the pal, the beam and the ikan. The first model is the older of the three. It comes with conventional trigger mechanism, really powerful and it comes in various different sizes. Probably the one ideal for UK is the 85, which could also be fitted with a trident for murky waters. The other two models more recent, are fitted with a reverse trigger mechanism which increases the loading length. The beam comes with an integrated reel and its geometry makes it very manoeurable, yet powerful. Another characteristic of this great gun is a stainless steel muzzle. Again the 85 is the best model for UK waters. The ikan is a bit larger and can take stronger set-ups ie 2x17.5mm rubber bands. The rubber bands, are positioned parallel with the axis of the spear, increasing the power. All three combine great aesthetics, power and manoeuvrability. The craftsmanship of Grigoris Minogiannis, owner of TEAKSEA is just unmatched! For more info and other models visitwww.teak-sea.com
