Hi spearos,

I can buy this gun for under $100 but is it worth it? Besides looking cool can it actually kill fish or it'll bounce off like the "Star Wars" Technisub?

Just buy a big knife. I would just use a short pole spear. These were the SCUBA Bling Blings backin the day, along with a big Davy Crockett knife
strapped to the other ankle.
Cheers, Don

would make a good hole gun for some stuff we have in hawaii would be really hard to use it otherwise.

It is basically very similar to the Mares "Miniministen" and does the same job. The "Miniministen" came with a holster that wanted to migrate down to your ankle, although this could be fixed by adding extra holes in the holster's back plate. The Technisub was better made in terms of the strap locations, so tended to stay put on your thigh.
