Hello, we are two buddies travelling to Tenerife in a week and are looking to do some spearfishing/freediving. I have been reading some of the older threads and have gotten som information. I now know that you need a fishing license to spearfish (dont know how to obtain it or how much it cost) I have also found these 3 sites: http://www.apneacanarias.com/en , http://atlantisfreediving.com/ , http://www.atlantic-divers.com/. Tried contacting all 3 sites about training course, gear rental and general information, sadly no reply yet.

Any locals or someone with experience that can help me out? :)

Also, I forgot to mention that I have found some information about spots for spearfishing.
I've heard that there is reefs all along the beaches of Costa Adeje and Playa de la americas.
Costa del silencio is nice for volcanic rocks and such.
