The fish latéral line!

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
I generally aim for the back of gill plate. Fish will often move forward or away, so often the spear will end up a bit further back, if correctly lined up. The video makes one point and it makes it convincingly: the lateral-line is in-line with the fish's spinal column, so aim for that!
