Cyprus is set to start on June 11, 2004. On that same day, the Cassini space probe, weighing 6 tons and launched in '97, will finally reach Saturn. Then, a few months later, the Cassini probe will detach the Huygens probe, which will land on Titan, Saturn's largest moon. I think this may be of interest to divers everywhere, because there, on Titan, is the only other great ocean in the solar system; a huge ocean of black liquid (liquid ethane/methane), which covers up to half the moon. Titan has an atmosphere as dense as the Earth, a pinkish purple sky, with methane/ethane clouds, methane/ethane rain, methane/ethane snow capped mountains, and the giant methane/ethane ocean. The Huygens probe will attempt to land on the shoreline of the black ocean. Perhaps in the future we will launch a freediving expedition to Titan!
