Im sick of this murky water all over the place, come hell or high water i'm finding a spearfishing spot this weekend. If I cant find a spot, i know devils lake is clear enough to dive but not spearfish, so i will attempt to underwater pole fish with and icefishing rod. Im seriously going nuts from not being in the water. Im trying blackhawk, rock lake, devils lake, and if i had a boat i would be in lake geneva.

The waters should be turning by the end of this week with the lows in the 30s. I hope I can figure out where the fish go after the plants die back. I was at Fenner lake a few weeks ago and I had about 5 feet of visibility, but I didn't see anything but small fish.

I went to Blackhawk today and it is still not good. You can see about 3 feet. The temp was about 61 degrees.

Lake michigan...around here we dont try and dive probably as early as late june...by that time everything has greened up. Last I heard all the fish had left the shallows in the door county area though. Still cool diving none the less depending on weather.
