The admins may want to know that Google warns at links pointing to Deeper Blue: under the link in search results it shows "This site may harm your computer", and when you click the link it shows the following alert page instead:

Malware Warning

The most likely reason is that some of the ads or other embedded elements contain(ed) some malware or spyware. Certainly no bad intention from the side of DB, but rather abuse on the part of some of the advertisers or their providers. The malware is hosted on the external website personallybuild.co.cc/, there is nothing wrong with the server of Deeper Blue - so the server is safe, and the data were not compromised.

Still the admins will probably want to remove the offensive ad (or whatever it is), to avoid losing traffic via Google.

And if you browse with Google Chrome browser, you'll get something similar too, even if you are not coming through Google search.

I've had that warning for two days. And even though I was brave (dumb?) enough to ignore it, it was too hard to overcome it. At every new click I'd get it again and have to go through two steps to prove my courage. And then when I tried to post a thread about it, it didn't work.

It seems to have stopped since I'm here now, but it needs to be addressed. I am not at all competent to understand the problem, but I fear many others will be in the same boat and respond by failing to come back.

I'm using Safari on a Mac, but I have no idea whether that is pertinent.

Papa Smurf was aware of a Malware issue a few hours ago and has been working hard to sort it out. Should be nearly done now but wait to hear from the big guy first. Unfortunately these things happen from time to time!

Cheers,
Ben

It happen to me when I was on the youtube thread. My anti-virus program stopped the download and then I couldn't get back to the thread. Glad to see it's fixed :)
