Tinnitus, anyone?

Tinnitus.
I have had Tinnitus in both ears for nearly 40 years.
A word of caution. The reason for the tinnitus is very important. If it occurs because you cant equalise properly you run the risk of serious damage and possibly loss of balance.
My problem was inexperience and diving in a new location with experienced divers.
I was diving off Heron Island in the Great barrier Reef. I simply went down to deep and to fast. I ruptured my left ear drum and lost balance.
Since this time I have been restricted to very shallow diving and in the swimming pool.
This is my first post. I enjoy visiting these sites and seeing what divers are capable of.
