To trim or not to trim

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 90 days.

I have a 3mil Omer two piece with a farmer john and it's too hot and buoyant. If I were to trim of the tank top part of the farmer john would it ruin the suit? Has anyone done this? Should I have it sewn up after cutting?:confused:

I almost always trim suits to get them to fit better. If you do it carefully you can always glue it back together. If you cut the sewing, make sure that you glue the threads so it doesn't unravel on you.
