This is for Tromic

The kit is for a 8mm spear on a cressi gun.
I am sure it is of nylon construction, not delrin. It i too soft.
It is very quiet and light.
I coulnt open it with out damaging the outside layer so i will leave it closed for now. I hope this helps.

Thanks for your effort to make the image with all those dimensions!
I haven't known there was Tovarich for 8 mm shaft!? Never heard somebody was talking about it.
I suppose the O-ring for 7 mm shaft is for another tovarich you might have, for 7 mm shaft? But it would be also possible to use the same muzzle for both 7 and 8 mm shaft, by just changing the O-ring (floating O-ring) if O-ring is 3 x 6.5 mm. How often have you to change the O-ring? I suppose it might last long, maybe a month or even more? What is your feeling regarding friction to O-ring during inserting the shaft?
My previous information about O-ring size for 7 mm shaft was that it is 3 x 7 (ID) mm...

Hi Tomi,

The 8mm kit has more friction than the 7mm kit and doesn't perform quiet as well. (i have 2 different ones)
You could use the same body but not the top section for both 7&8mm.

I have never had to change a o-ring (thankfully it looks a lot harder to do than in a tomba F kit)

Yes 7mm 0ring is definitely 6.5(ID) x 3mm.
Also there is definitely more friction in the Tovarich kit 7mm than in the tombaF 7.14 kit.

Thanks for additional explanation! I thought that the tovarich kit is in one piece only and that the shock absorber should be inserted from the back side like in Mares sten 11 muzzle.

This is a valuable information to me. I made TombaF design to have the lowest possible friction shaft to O-ring but for the price of possible higher friction if bending the shaft during loading. A good balance should be between acceptable friction during loading and friction shaft to O-ring. That is why "opening ID" for specific shaft OD was interesting to me. Higher value of "opening" ID relative to shaft OD means higher friction to O-ring.

The Tovarich Kit is definitely 2 pieces (not like sten 11).

I have never had bending issues in any freeshafting kit. I think there is excessive friction in the tovarich kit where as the tombaF7.14 has hit the mark perfectly.

Do you use the ladder loader, or you just have perfect loading skill?

Ha, no i have a extended loader but also i hold the spear with my with hand to prevent loading, and the tombaF714 has a long nose that helps prevent bending.
