Dear community!

Kindly advise what regulations are in place for travelling to Greece and bringing spear fishing equiment on the plane to and from? What documents are needed and what are the ruels at the airport. Going to Rhodes, Greece.

Thank you!

Daria

Most airlines are okay with spear equipment, but it usually has to be checked as sports equipment.
I’d give your airline and the Greek consulate a quick call just to double-check on any specifics, especially for Rhodes, since some areas do have restrictions on spear fishing. I also ended up flying business class for the extra luggage allowance and smoother experience—found a solid deal through TravelBusinessClass, which saved me a ton of time searching online.
