hey all, i live on oahu and plan on making an excursion over christmas to spear on big island, this is a small trip so i am not too concerned with my gun, but later i will be travelling to the south pacific and australia, so i figure i will need some kind of case... they sell "sportubes" here, but those are too expensive, as are rifle cases (and too short). i saw the thread with the guy who made the wood case thing, but that looks like a pain in the ass, and not that sturdy anyway. i have a 55" wong teak/titanium hybrid, and i have been thinking of putting it in a piece of PVC, but then i would have to unscrew the aimrite handle for it to fit, and i am wondering if constantly unscrewing the aimrite handle would allow for water to eventually work its way into the teak and waterlog the wood (is this possible with teak?), seeing how all the other teak parts daryl coated with epoxy for waterproofness AND durability (although i assume teak doesnt waterlog since other guns have no coating..) also, ideas for shiping longblade fins would be nice too, and should i expect to pay extra for the airline baggage? sorry for the long post, but thanks in advance for the replies... mahalos. :thankyou
