Some Questions
Hi all,
I'm interested in hearing if anyone has used the Kitto trigger mechanism (Millennium 2) and what they think of it. Also, Kitto suggests using Delrin when constructing an enclosed track gun. However, Daryl doesn't seem to do that anymore ("been there done that"). What are the pro's and cons of Delrin vs. a track cut right in the wood block?

The Millenium is built like a tank, weighs about as much and is as reliable as an Alexander, the benchmark of trigger quality. You can do a LOT worse than incorporating it into your gun.
And on the subject of truths, Delrin is a pain in the ass to pin and keep bueno while you mill it. That's the only downside I've seen with it. I like the weight it adds and I've not had any problems with it chipping or heading South. A wood track will swell slightly, but adding that into the building of the barrel will take care of it. Or you can go easy and give it a judicious coating of epoxy for added wear resistance.
