Hey guys,

I've been in the market for a polosub wetsuit, but their websites have 120p resolution videos for measurements, and the polosub vidoes are in italian, so I could very well be missing some important information.

I've spent money for a tailor already and she wasn't sure where exactly to take the measurements herself, and I've also emailed polosub as well with specific questions, but they wouldn't answer them as they said they could only answer them in person. I've looked at my own measurements dozens of times, but for things like the neck, there can be as much of a 3cm difference depending on how high or low on the neck I go.

How did you all get sized for a polosub/elios wetsuit? The idea of having something that fits like a glove is pretty cool, but the risk of having something be too loose/tight is an absolute nightmare if I messed this up. I'd be getting a 7mm so I don't think there'd be much room for error as it won't stretch as easily.

Thanks!

I have posted detailed measuring suggestions several times in the past, including quite recently. Suggest that you take a look at those.

Essentially have somebody take multiple readings on both sides, ideally on different days and under different conditions ( temperature, pressure, etc). Discard any outliers and average the rest.

Make sure the neck is not tight, otherwise you risk triggering the swallow reflex. ;)

Look at my earlier posts on this for more suggestions
