Hey I play UWH with my University club in york :)
We play twice a week, it's a load of fun ! I knew it was definately the right sport for me as soon as I saw it involved holding your breath and swimming underwater !

We have the university Nationals coming up in 3 weeks time, that should be fun, can't wait.

I've always wondered whether or not it would be benefitial for freediving.
I guess if it helps build a CO2 tolerance then it'll be beneficial to a certain extent. But obviously it doesn't involved you being relaxed so yea the training is completely different for freediving and UWH.
