Underwater hockey

It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
They are underwater for 30 sec. top.
There are two underwater judges that wouldn't allow to overdo a thing.

So if I put a guy in a full Nelson and just hold him underwater while he struggles in incredible pain & burns up his oxygen fast, the judges won't let me keep him there until he blacks out?

Lol, I was months off going onto a clearance diver course in the NAVY, could have been ME using my super underwater skidoo of death to battle henchmen of aquatic doom!

Hey,
I also play underwater hockey! I'm captain of the university of York's team. We're not exactly the most competitive team but I've recently been trying to do some research into different and more efficient exercises and drills to introduce to our sessions. Unfortunately it's quite hard to find anything recent on the internet. A lot of the websites I did find were from before the year 2000 or so. Was hoping I could maybe find some more info from this thread! It would be good to discuss different training methods and the pro's / con's it has on general freediving :)

Where abouts do you guys play and what's your training like for the fitness side of things?

Thanks,
Erdi
