hey. had an ear infection in one ear a few weeks back - nothing too serious i think, antibiotics + some drops killed it up quick.

the problem now is - the ear that had the infection now equalizes very easily. in contrast, the other ear feels much tighter and a requires much more pressure to even open. it never feels as 'open' as the other ear, and feels (slightly) sore around the drum.

im assuming that one ear opening first, reduces the pressure left on the other ear?

very annoying anyway. am i simply stuck with this, and/or any idea as to the cause/solution?

reminds me of the way my ears acted after I blew my eardrum.. the other ear clearing like a dream other needed much more pressure. I just tried to "direct" pressure to the other ear, by twisting my nose when equalizing. Now my ears are ok again so I would think your ears will heal to what they were before.. hoping..

Sounds like you still have some irritation in the sticky ear. Time will probably cure it. If not, a round of cortizone pills should do the trick.

Good luck
