hiya hunters

I have decided to upgrade my gun ( beuchat mundial carbon 115 )
I did the following:
Shaft changed from 6.3 mm INOX > to 7 mm hardened Rockwell steel
Shaft wing now goes down instead of the regular up ( SA tip )
Daynima wishbone instead of metal one
I have added a rail for better accuracy
Rubber slings are shortend in 1 cm for more power

I think most guns should come strong and with no need to upgrade them!

it shuts better
it is more accurate
more distance
30% more power
most important it is more quiet

Like it. I was going to say "pretty much a Rob Allen Caranx railgun!" but with those wishbone ends & the polymer rail, I'm thinking Rabitech might have provided some inspiration?;)

Was the bigger spear to balance the 20mm rubbers or was there some other reason for going for the larger diameter?

it was the distance that i wanted more
( havier shaft = gets more distance)
hit strike & durability the INOX shaft has broken twice by hitting the rocks
a big enought grouper can damage the thin INOX spear
one friend of mine with the same gun & setup spear a 49 Kilos amberjack!!

Hi mundial,

What is the rail you have used for the Beuchat upgrade?

I have serveral Beuchat guns (75-115cm), but until now I have not found a fitting stick-on rail, e.g. the Omer universal rail's profile is too low for the Mundial.

Cheers, ulysses

JBL Rails suit the Mundial perfectly. I put a rail on my 96cm Elite, made a world of difference.

nice looking gun ^

Hi Amphibious!

Where can I buy the JBL rail (preferably online)?

Cheers, ulysses
