I am new here but I was very active SCUBA diver for more than 20 years, but in last 15 years I do mostly free diving, because: I love warm tropical seas, full of life where as free diver I am "free as a bird", with mask, fins and small UW camera only. This is the best way to observe UW life: cheap, quiet and environmentally friendly. All the "important" things in tropical seas are found in the depths up to 15 meters, which are easily accessible without SCUBA equipment.
In 2005 I bought my first UW compact camera Pentax OPTIO WP and in next years also W10, W20, W30, W60. At the moment I own Panasonic DMC-FT1 (TS1), which is capable to take photos up to 8 meters deep.
My last trip was to Egypt, a week ago. Some pics:
I also made some movies there: YouTube - PrimozP's Channel
