UWATEC Aladin pro liquid

Hi there,

I just took an old diving computer named "Uwatec aladin pro". It works, but the liquid inside of it is gone.


Can any1 guide me, what liquid should be used and where could i get it from ?

Please do not offer to send it back to Uwatec.

If there is any liquid inside the computer aside the liquid crystal display, then you do not even need to bother with sending it to Uwatec - you can just throw it away. Buying a modern computer would be cheaper than the repair. And same goes for the display - if it is gone, you will barely find a skilled repair man who would be able to exchange the display without damaging the device and keeping it waterproof, and in the same time keeping the price of the repair below a purchase of another such device (you can often get a used Aladin Pro for around $50 on eBay). Recent new diving computers have usually much more features than the old Aladin Pro, are small and handy, and are relatively inexpensive. Aladin Pro is rather useless for freediving (I used it though around a decade ago for it too) - it does not have any features that a proper apnea watch needs to have (bottom time, surface time, fast sampling rate, alarms), only the depth meter can be helpful. So investing any money into the Aladin repair just to have the biggest depth-meter in the world is really not worth of it (Aladin Pro has the dimensions and weight of a decent Swiss safety box). If you are low on budget for buying a proper freediving watch, you can find several inexpensive and small depth-meters on the market.
