Hey guys, I have a vintage Viot swimaster that I am trying to get going again. It is in great shape for its age except for the mussle. One of the band tangs has busted off(pot metal) and I can't seem to locate a replacement muzzle. If you know of one, would appreciate it. Also if not, which of the jbl muzzles might work since they took over from voit.

:banForgot to mention the barrel is 2 1/4" and the orginal muzzle would hold three 1/2" bands. straded

Does the muzzle look like this one? This is a Swimmaster gun that I bought in 1961, before Voit bought the design.

Not like the one you pictured. The gun actually has a voit sticker on side so was after voit acquired company. It looks like the one you pictured in the main body but instead of having the slot at the bottom for the bands, it has double tangs sticking out about 2 inches on each side, The bands would fit through one set of tangs, loop under the body of the mast then through the double tangs on the other side. I have tried to put pic on. pic 3 shows the missing tang on the top left side.

JBL still makes that muzzle. Check their website. You can get aluminum or plastic (lighter)

Mathew,
Check out JBL Spearguns and ABBiller. Both have lots of tips that are similar.
