Vyper vd. Stinger

I'm having trouble deciding between a Stinger or a Vyper (console).
I like Stinger becuase
1. All the info right on my wrist.
2. It seems VERY popular so it's gotta be quite good.
But, it looks too big on my wrist (being a female and all...) and I would need my own console someday when I buy my regulators anyway.

I also like Vyper because
1. It shows my air consumption.
2. I am less likely to lose a console than a watch
3. Later, I just need to by a regulator instead of regulator and a console

FYI, I only started diving last year, and would most likely stick to warm water reef divings. Thanks for your expert opinions!

Hello, Suunto came out with the ultimate solution for you!
The Cobra, which is the same as a Vyper but directly connected to your HD-Pressure Hose.

The Info may not be on your wrist, but you have do check your fini regularly anyway, so you got it all in one look instead of two.

The air consumption IS a great advantage, you can tune your intake very good, your left over no-deco time will be better calculated, too.

Loading the data to your computer with vyper or cobra is fun, too!
You enjoy your dives again and can see exactly in which circumstance you need more air and tune yourself. Additional you get a databased Divelog!

Hm. I have the Vyper AND the Cobra, ´cause so I have a backup when the cobra gets missing due to malfunction, theft, battery or whatsoever.
Since I carry both at all dives, I could proceed with four safari-boat dives the day if the Cobra fails.
BUT I dont wear it outside the water anyway, I fear that the delicate pressure mechanism could be damaged. So dont worry about optic´s we all dont look under water very attractive, compared to a dolphin ;-).
