Walking From Car To Water - What Footwear Do People Use

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
This is how I really get to the water though...

I am with Ben on this one . A truly classy elegant individual will pick traditional flipflops over crocs anytime! This or Dr. Scholls... :girlie

Mind you, lately, and I'm lucky here, I've been going bare foot, as I park the car and take only what I am swimming with. Leaving nothing on the beach.

crocs all the way for water wear, although just to add if you have wide feet, for everyday use/shoes the Keen brand mentioned here are GREAT. I struggle to find shoes for my feet as they are so wide across the toes but Keen are a great fit.

For climbing down muddy cliffs in Yorkshire I use these, good enough for the french foreign legion so good enough for me. As the beach is deserted I just leave them, my clothes and any thing else that needs keeping dry there (although being yorkshire it could rain at any moment).

I'm checking out your diving spots and i'm gonna post a picture of me wearing them, be warned ;-)

Went to "Boundry Waters Canoe Area" several years ago and used the Keens H2O--fit my duck feet but really worked great--except if in fine gravelly sand--grit comes in the sides. Quick rinse though. VERY rugged. Still in the same pair and working fine. Love them when launching boat. Barefoot out here--too many stickers. Headed to BWCA again this summer with my youngest and ger youth group--can't wait! Troll & Apboy at it like an old married couple--who's on top? :ko

No actually Apboy, I wear the pants, she does tell me HOW to wear them though!!

And not sure about who is on top Al, but Ap is the ones who takes. ;)

I use ordinary diving shoes as they've got a thick enough rubber sole and they're designed to be in the water. The only drawback I found was their buoyancy flipped my catch bag upside down and I lost a crab hook. Shouldn't be a problem if you strap them to your float or don't have one of those girly purse-style openings on your catch bag like me.

Failing that, you can buy 'aqua shoes' on eBay for less than a tenner and that'll do the trick too. Whatever you do, just don't wear those disgusting Croc things. God knows why they ever took off.

I'm going to try some Agbiv skin boots this year I think. I reckon we'd get enough for two pairs out of the mad chef reefy. Fancy a pair?

I've had hide peeled before--deservedly. If'n you peel some for your boots take a layer of blubber with. Spring is coming and I require less insulation.

I'd love a pair. Can we genetically modify him for a bit so I get some stripes?
