Hi everyone.

I'm from Calgary Canada and I'll be taking my first freediving course in January in Hawaii, after which I'll travel (cycling & camping) some of the islands for a couple of weeks. Where can I find local freedivers and freedive sites? I'd like to meet up with locals that I can freedive with.

Any advice?
Thanks,
Blair

If the Argos or the Roughriders win the Grey Cup, you can come dive with us in Kona (and even if they don't......) Send me an e-mail if I can help. Have to warn you though, the water will be a bone-chilling 24-25 at that time of year.

You heard right Blair. Some of the most protected (from weather) water in the world, no seasons to speak of and a place about 50 km S of the airport that can be magical at times called Honaunau. We dive there on Sunday.
What course are you taking and where?
